TO ASSIST IN A SEARCH

When you actually enter the Online Directory listings section, depending on your computer and the Web browser you use, you can use a Find command to locate other specifics such as age group, treatment type, language, problem or issue treated, or method of treatment. To use the Find command in Internet Explorer, press Control + F (find) on your keyboard or go to Find in the drop down Edit menu. Either method will bring up a dialog box. In the dialog box, type the item for which you are searching. You are limited to the options listed below.

If you are looking for treatment for a particular age group, type Young Children, Children, Adolescents, Adults, or Senior Adults.

If you are searching for a treatment type, put Individual, Couples/Marital, Group, or Family.

If you would like to find an individual who is able to conduct therapy in a specific language, you may put the language; for example, Japanese or Farsi or Korean.

If you are seeking someone who treats a specific problem or issue, choose from the following and type it in the dialog box exactly as it is listed: ACA/Codependency, Adjustment Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Attention Deficit Disorders, Autism/Asperger's, Blended Families, Brain Injury/Neurological, Chemical Dependence/Substance Abuse, Child Custody, Chronic Illness, Chronically Mentally Ill, Couple/Relationship Problems, Depression, Divorce, Domestic Violence, Eating Disorders, Ethnic/Cultural, Forensics, Gay/Lesbian, Gender/Identity, Geropsychology, Grief/Bereavement, Health Psychology, HIV/AIDS, Incest/Rape/Adult Sexual Abuse, Learning Disabilities, Media Psychology, Mood Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, Parenting, Perpetrators of Crime, Personality Disorders, Persons with Disabilities, Phobias, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Self Esteem/Personal Growth, Sexual Dysfunctions, Sleep Disorders, Terminal Illness, Victims of Crime & Violence.
