January 8:  Linda Bortell, PsyD:  Mixing and Matching: Working with Blended Families. Linda is a clinical psychologist in private practice in South Pasadena. She specializes in treating child trauma victims, co-parenting, families and high conflict divorce.  Dr. Bortell is on the adjunct faculty and clinical staff at Rose City Center in Pasadena. She frequently lectures at regional and state conferences on high conflict divorce, infertility, ethics and child development in an age of technology. She and Dr. Gitu Bhatia developed an app for iPhones called DivorceWorks to help people get through the divorce in a mindful manner, with a focus on culture and the kids. Linda is also the chair of the Political Action Committee (PAC) for CPA.  She is a past president of LACPA and of the Wright Institute Alumni Association, and is the past co-president of San Gabriel Valley Psychological Association.

The NEW LACPA office address is THE ENCINO OFFICE PARK, 6345 Balboa Blvd, Building 2, Suite 126, Encino, CA 91316 - second building from Balboa Blvd., conveniently located near ample free daytime/weekday street parking on Balboa Blvd, south of Victory Blvd.  Both sides of Balboa have all day free parking.  There is also plenty of free parking at the Sepulveda Basin Sports Complex on the west side of Balboa, south of Victory, 6201 Balboa Blvd. (2nd driveway past the Busway). 2-3 minute walk to the office door.  Wherever you park, please check the signs. 

 

Parking at The Encino Office Park lot between the hours of 9 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. is restricted to building tenants only.  Do not park in the lot at the building.
