This will be an informative talk followed by Q&A and a lively discussion about
using technology to expand your psychotherapy practice beyond the walls of your office
Linda Haack, Ph.D. is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist(#PSY12334) in private practice since 1991. Due to having clients who travel and relocating from San Diego to Los Angeles, Dr. Haack developed a niche using teletherapy services within her practice. This allows for greater flexibility when working with established clients living in the greater San Diego area, as well as others. She is also a certified trained provider for Military EAP services, serving the Military and their families. Dr. Haack educated herself about the legal and ethical considerations specific to teletherapy services. With decades of clinical experience prior to using teletherapy, she will discuss her experiences providing therapy via technology as compared to traditionally. This will be an overview and personal account on lessons learned, and are still learning, as it is a constantly changing area with evolving
We will begin our meeting with elevator speeches so please be prompt to benefit from this networking opportunity.

This meeting is open to ALL, both LACPA members and non-members! Feel free to invite your colleagues, even those who are affiliated professionals.
We are in the extended membership period: Those who join LACPA now be members through August, 2018 without paying two years of dues.

The LACPA office address is THE ENCINO OFFICE PARK, 6345 Balboa Blvd, Building 2, Suite 126, Encino, CA 91316 - second building from Balboa Blvd.
Anytime on the weekend, you may park, free of charge, in the lot directly behind the building.
Weekdays after 6:30 p.m. you may park, free of charge, in the lot directly behind the building.
Enter at either the Victory entrance (just west of Balboa past the building) or the Balboa entrance (between Victory and the Busway), take a ticket and when you leave, exit through the Victory visitor’s gate, push the red button on the way out to Victory. You must exit by 9:30 p.m.
There is also street parking on Balboa Blvd, south of Victory Blvd. Both sides of Balboa have free parking. There is also plenty of free parking at the Sepulveda Basin Sports Complex on the west side of Balboa, south of Victory, 6201 Balboa Blvd. (2nd driveway past the Busway). 2-3 minute walk to the office door. Wherever you park, please check the signs.
