Student Leadership Committee
LACPA’s Student Leadership Committee is dedicated to providing student members with opportunities for professional growth via student-focused events and networking opportunities. The Student Committee is led by our Student Liaisons who represent student interests on the LACPA board of directors.
Melissa Branchaud, M.A.
Chairperson, Student Leadership Committee
Melissa graduated from the University of Massachusetts-Boston with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2008. She returned to California and the mental health field where she earned a certificate as a Mental Health Rehabilitation Counselor prior to enrolling at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles. Melissa is completing her Psy.D. in clinical psychology with a concentration in Police psychology. She has been a member of LACPA since 2011 holding the position of Campus Representative and now Chair of the Student Leadership Committee.
Melissa’s goal as Chair is to enhance the experience of our student members and grow our student membership, both in numbers and geographically.
