Report on status of Bills related to practice of psychology were reviewed.
One of the bills is AB 1374 Levine
Part of this bill involves removal of the "fee” for services language from the definition of the practice of psychology. The rational for this change is to provide consumer protection and clarification that all the services rendered by a psychologist whether for a fee or pro bono are considered the practice of psychology and fall under the Board of Psychology standards.
