Have you ever referred a client for pelvic floor physical therapy? Have you ever wanted to know more about what that involves and how it helps? You're in luck! We have one of the top pelvic floor physical therapists in the U.S. right here in LA, and she's speaking at our next Sex SIG meeting. 

In April, we welcome Stephanie Prendergast, MPT to talk with us about Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy for Sexual Concerns in Men and Women onFriday, April 20th, noon - 1:30 pm at the LACPA office. She'll talk about assessment and treatment of sexual concerns including sexual pain and erectile dysfunction from a physical therapy perspective.

Title: Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy for Sexual Concerns for Men and Women

Speaker Bio: Stephanie A. Prendergast, MPT is cofounder of the Pelvic Health and Rehabilitation Center, which has 6 locations in the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, and Lexington, MA.  She currently treats patients in the Los Angeles location. In 2002 Stephanie was elected to the International Pelvic Pain Society’s Board of Directors and in 2013 was the first physical therapist to be President of the Society. She has authored numerous publications and regularly lectures on pelvic health related topics. She and Elizabeth Akinicilar co-authored  the recently published book, Pelvic Pain Explained.  You can find Stephanie on Twitter @pelvichealth and follow PHRC’s award-winning blog at www.pelvicpainrehab.com/blog.

Parking: Please take advantage of ample street parking. LACPA parking is not allowed in the building parking lot during business hours.


The LACPA office address is THE ENCINO OFFICE PARK, 6345 Balboa Blvd, Building 2, Suite 126, Encino, CA 91316 - second building from Balboa Blvd., conveniently located near ample free daytime/weekday street parking on Balboa Blvd, south of Victory Blvd.  Both sides of Balboa have all day free parking.  There is also plenty of free parking at the Sepulveda Basin Sports Complex on the west side of Balboa, south of Victory, 6201 Balboa Blvd. (2nd driveway past the Busway). 2-3 minute walk to the office door.  Wherever you park, please check the signs. 


Parking at The Encino Office Park lot between the hours of 9 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. is restricted to building tenants only.  Please, do not park in the lot at the building.
