Please join us for the next Couples SIG on Friday October 11 from 12:00-1:30 PM

Topic:  Infidelity

Infidelity presents one of the most challenging clinical issues facing couples therapists. Treating Infidelity from an Interpersonal Neurobiological Perspective explores the different types of affairs and an understanding of betrayal on the trauma continuum. Attachment organization and affect regulatory strategies of the straying partner and the betrayed partner will also be discussed. Clinical vignettes will illustrate the concepts presented.

Speaker: Dr. Wendy Cherry

Wendy Cherry, Psy.D. is a licensed psychotherapist in private practice in Encino, CA. She is the co-founder and President of the American Association of Couples and Sex Therapists (AACAST), and the Co-Director of the Couples and Sex Therapy Training Program at UCLA. She trained with Dr. Walter Brackelmanns for almost two decades, and is an accomplished educator, lecturer and public speaker.
