Why Visibility Should Matter to Psychologists and Allied Professionals

 Presented by: Karen Wilson, Ph.D.

In 2019, the CEO of the American Psychological Association described the need to translate psychological science for the public and demonstrate how psychologists’ work benefits society. This presentation will address how visibility can help professionals use influence to create awareness, expand their reach, and establish themselves as thought leaders.

Dr. Karen Wilson is a Clinical Neuropsychologist and founder of ChildNEXUS.com. She is Chair of the Department of Psychology at California State University, Dominguez Hills and a Voluntary Assistant Clinical Professor at the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Behavior at UCLA.
