The Board of Psychology will be holding its public quarterly Board meeting at the Hilton Los Angeles Airport in Los Angeles, CA on April 24-26, 2019. At this meeting, the Board will among other things, review newly introduced legislation that could impact the Board and its licensees, potential precedential decisions regarding unlicensed practice, and acknowledgment of the service of Board Members Lucille Acquaye-Baddoo and Nicole J. Jones whose board terms end this year.

The Board of Psychology will be holding a Licensing Committee Meeting on January 11, 2019, in Sacramento CA. At this meeting, the Committee will be presented with the Foreign Degree Evaluation Process by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) and the National Register of Health Service Psychologists (NRHSP). The Committee will also discuss and recommend content for an informational video for supervisors.

The Board of Psychology’s Policy and Advocacy Committee (Committee) will be holding a teleconference meeting on Friday, December 14, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The purpose of this meeting is to obtain stakeholder input on the Board’s proposed revisions to Business and Professions Code Section 2960.1 regarding Denial, Suspension and Revocation for Acts of Sexual Contact.

 9/18/17 - ATTENTION SUPERVISORS, SUPERVISEE’S, TRAINING DIRECTORS, AND ANYONE ELSE INVOLVED IN A SUPERVISION SETTING!

On October 1, 2017, the Board of Psychology’s Verification of Experience and Supervision Agreement requirements will change. These changes effect Supervisors, Supervisee’s, Training Directors, and anyone else involved in a supervision setting.
